It’s a hot sunny day and we need a pub dinner! We have a local down the road, and at Marstons they have ensured that there are vegan options all throughout the menu, it’s hard to pick what to eat!
We both decided to take up the Tuesday burger offer (Two burgers for £10) and got a side of garlic bread which we like to call focaccia, as it’s made with a pizza base. The moving mountains burger is absolutely perfect, I think a non vegan wouldn’t be able to tell the difference – I certainly wouldn’t 4 months ago (before going vegan). I decided to ask for mine without the BBQ jackfruit, as I feel it’s always too overpowering personally. Instead I had fried onions and tomato sauce on mine which was perfect. What would make it even better, is if they had vegan mayo.
The garlic bread was so good, it’s encouraged us to try the pizza next time we’re there.
